A fire was reported at The KEE to Bala on Monday morning.
When firefighters from Bala, Torrance, Foots Bay, Walkers Point, Glen Orchard, and Port Carling were alerted around six o’clock and arrived at the scene, they discovered an exterior blaze behind the Bala Falls Pub next to the popular venue.
According to the Muskoka Lakes Township fire department, crews quickly knocked down the flames with a so-called “fast attack.”
No other structures were damaged.
Damage is pegged at about $20,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
2)Garage fire on Pringle Drive in Barrie

Barrie firefighters had a garage fire at a Pringle Drive home, in the west end of the city, under control in about an hour.
Deputy Fire Chief Justin Gilbert told Barrie 360 that crews were called to the blaze at around 12:30 Friday afternoon, and added the fire started and was contained to the garage.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
