Grab your capes, dust off your lightsabers, and mark your calendars — Comic Fest is back at the Barrie Public Library on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and more fun than ever.

Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., this free, all-ages event is a celebration of pop culture, creativity, and community. Whether you’re a die-hard comic book fan, an anime enthusiast, or just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday with the family, there’s something for everyone at Comic Fest.

What to expect at Comic Fest

Comic Fest brings together some of the most passionate creators and fans in the region for a day filled with:

• Local artists and vendors showcasing their unique, geeky wares
• Cosplayers bringing characters to life — and always ready for a photo op
• Interactive activities for kids, teens, and adults alike
• Community love for comics, games, cosplay, and all things nerdy

It’s the perfect place to explore unique handmade goods, discover new graphic novels, and connect with fellow fans. Costumes are highly encouraged, so come dressed as your favorite character and join in the fun!

Every year, Comic Fest hosts a vendor market with great finds. The 2025 vendor list is coming soon.
