The Mourning Space
Entrepreneurs are good at two things — 1. Solving problems and 2. Hiding how much they’re holding.
But grief doesn’t care about launch dates, cash flow, the Holidays or client deadlines. It shows up anyway — in your focus, your energy, your relationships, your capacity to lead and do your life. Maybe you’ll recognize yourself here…You stay busy. You overwork. You tell yourself, “I just need to power through,” and quietly hope the feelings will time-out if you ignore them OR… You worry you’re “too much,” lean hard on a few people, and then feel guilty for needing support at all. Neither is wrong, it’s just different ways of coping.
The Mourning Space is an anonymous, private, live, facilitated online grief support drop-in where founders, freelancers, and humans-with-businesses can put down the performance and tend to what hurts.
There’s no networking, no pitch, no “turn your pain into productivity” spin, just an anonymous, guided, emotionally safe space with no cameras, no distractions; permission to feel without collapsing your whole business; a quiet practice you can use to help your self pause, feel and exhale.
If you’re building something, nurturing something and grieving something, you don’t have to choose which one matters. All of it does.
Join The Mourning Space every Friday at 8:30pm EST: https://mourningspace.mournwith.us/main.cfm or share this with anyone who could use the grief support.
