Get ready to MOVE, Simcoe Muskoka! Move to Give is back and it’s bigger, bolder, and powered by YOU! From heart-pumping Y Rides and high-intensity fitness relays to pickleball showdowns, swim-a-thons, and even a rubber duck race, there’s something happening in communities across the region. Every step, every lap, every serve helps local kids, youth, and families access life-changing YMCA programs. Whether it is a child care centre, swimming pool, or employment centre, the Y creates a safe space for human interaction and connection. The Y has looked for creative ways to connect people with programs and services online when face to face interaction wasn’t possible. YMCA Health, Fitness and Aquatics centers connect thousands of people of all ages to the supports they need to live a healthy lifestyle. 1 in 10 YMCA members receive financial assistance to access our programs as they can’t afford to pay full fees.
