Santa Claus Parades around Simcoe County, Muskoka

Santa’s visit to Barrie is just around the corner

NOTE: This list is a work in progress. As we hear of more parades, we will add them to the list.

NOVEMBER 15

ALLISTON – 6 p.m.

The parade starts at Banting Memorial High School and runs through downtown Alliston out to the west end shopping area on Young Street

BALA – 1 p.m.

Parade will follow along 169, turn on Burgess, Victoria, and Maple. Free skating follows at the Bala Arena.

BARRIE – 5 p.m.

The parade will begin at Tiffin and Lakeshore, then head north on Lakeshore Dr and up Toronto St. From there it’s east onto Dunlop St to Poyntz St

BRADFORD – 6:00 p.m.

Starting at Bradford & District High School the parade route will travel south on Professor Day Drive to Holland Street, east along Holland Street until Simcoe Road, and finally south on Simcoe Road ending at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre

COLLINGWOOD – 5 p.m.

Downtown

NEWMARKET – 11 a.m.

The parade starts at the corner of Eagle Street and Lorne Avenue, proceeds east on Eagle Street to Main Street, and continues north on Main Street to finish at Ontario Street

NOVEMBER 22

ANGUS – 10 a.m

The parade runs down Mill Street between Commerce Road and County Road 10 (Angus Arena)

GRAVENHURST – 11 a.m.

The parade will travel through historic downtown Gravenhurst

COOKSTOWN – 6:30 p.m.

Along Main Street

MIDLAND – 11 a.m.

The parade begins at Little Lake Park, heads north on King Street, ending on Bay Street

ORILLIA – 5 p.m.

The parade starts on Colborne Street West, turns onto Dunlop Street, then Mississaga Street East to Front Street, ending at Queen Street East

WASAGA BEACH – 5 p.m.

The parade starts at Dunkerron Avenue and will end at the RecPlex on Mosley Street

NOVEMBER 23

TORONTO – 12:30 p.m.

The Parade will start at Christie Pits, located at 750 Bloor Street West, proceed east along Bloor Street to St. George/Beverly, continue south to Hoskin Avenue, east to Queens Park, south on Queens Park Crescent and University Avenue, east on Wellington Street, and south again on Yonge Street to Front Street. From there, the Parade will head east on Front Street and finish at the St. Lawrence Market at Jarvis Street.

INNISFIL – 1:30 p.m.

The parade will start at Innisfil Park, head west on Innisfil Beach Road and end on Jans Boulevard

WAUBASHENE – 1 p.m.

Pine Street from Hazel Street to Fallowfield Lane, ending with a visit with Santa at the fire hall

NOVEMBER 28

HUNTSVILLE – 7 p.m

Along Main and King William streets from Lorne Street to the Huntsville Place Mall

PORT CARLING – 6:30 p.m. The parade runs from Ferndale Rd to Bailey Street

DECEMBER 5

BRACEBRIDGE – 6 p.m.

Along Manitoba Street

DECEMBER 6

STAYNER – 10:30 a.m.

Watch the parade come down Main Street and finishing at the old Foodland. There will be hot chocolate and hot dogs at the end of the route. Monetary donations accepted for the Foodbank.

COLDWATER – 5:30 p.m.

Beginning on Gray Street, travelling down to Coldwater Road and following it to the Fairgrounds. The parade ends as it turns towards the arena at the Shell Station but note: Santa’s float turns onto Mill Street where Santa will exit. Santa and Mrs Claus will be greeting children and handing out candy upstairs at the Coldwater Heritage Mill immediately after the parade

CREEMORE – 1:30p.m.

Kick off the holiday season by lining the main street with friends, family and neighbours to see all of the creative floats entered by local businesses and organizations. and afterwards, meet & greet with Santa on the Village Green stage

DECEMBER 12

MINESING TRACTOR PARADE – 7 p.m.

DECEMBER 13

BEETON – 11 a.m.

Along Main Street

DECEMBER 14

ANTEN MILLS – 1 p.m.
