Simcoe County Linx Transit – as of 11am – Route 1: Midland/Penetang to Barrie – Service suspended due to deteriorating weather conditions. – Route 3: Orillia to Barrie – Napoleon stop remains temporarily bypassed as unable to access.
Most roads have now reopened, however, heavy squalls are expected this evening. Visibility may be poor, and rapid snow accumulation is expected. The OPP is urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel. – County Road 29 from County Road 22 to Concession 4 Tiny remains closed

The following road closures remain in effect as the winter storm system persists in parts of Central Region, resulting in hazardous road conditions:
Crossland Road from Tiny Concession 4 to Horseshoe Valley Road
All Flos Roads west of County Road 27
OPP urges motorists in areas impacted by severe weather to avoid travel unless necessary.
