Civic Holiday – What’s Open and Closed

GARBAGE COLLECTION
- Barrie – regular garbage collection day
- Orillia – NO garbage collection; collection will be a day late this week

PUBLIC TRANSIT
- Barrie Transit will run on a Sunday service schedule on Monday, August 3. Barrie Transit is offering free Kempenfest shuttle service from July 31 to August 3.

- Simcoe County Linx Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, August 3

Reminder: Fireworks are not permitted in the City of Barrie on Civic Holiday weekend
Fireworks can only be set off on the following (single calendar) days: Victoria Day, Canada Day, New Year’s Day, and for the duration of the recognized Lunar New Year and Diwali holidays, as per the Regulatory Matters by-law.
