Camp Tech Friday Tech Roundup

Here are a few things we’ve found online that we hope you’ll enjoy or find useful.
Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a big difference.

If you have a whole bunch of tabs open in Chrome, you can now have them displayed vertically, in a sidebar.
Three huge benefits to this approach: you can see the webpage title more easily so you remember what the heck the tab is; you can group tabs more easily (and have even more groups than before); and your main browser window stays larger with less distractions. If you want to try it out, here are instructions for how to set up vertical tabs in Chrome.

Google Workspace users, take note. Google announced Workspace Intelligence this week, and much more power with Gemini inside Google Sheets. Read about it in TechCrunch: Google updates Workspace to make AI your new office intern

Fun Things to Click On (So Cool…Patricia)
In honour of Earth Day this week, here’s our new favourite thing on the internet. NASA’s “Your Name in Landsat” lets you type your name and see it spelled out in real satellite images of Earth. Every letter is a river, glacier, coastline, or landform that just happens to look like the alphabet. You can download your Landsat name image, and you can also click on each letter to see where in the world it came from.
