A supermarket chain in Spain has become the place where singles go when they’re ready to mingle.
A viral TikTok explains there is an unofficial dating hour at “Mercadona” locations between 7pm-8pm.
People are ditching the frustrating dating apps and trying to meet people while out in the real world, but there is a method to how you send out signals.
TikToker Ana Gildersleeve explained that people looking for a long term relationship should pick up a bag of lentils, “because they last forever in your pantry, while those looking for a hook-up can pick up lettuce for a good, short-term time.”
If you’re interested in someone, you should playfully crash your shopping cart into theirs.
No word on whether this method has worked for people, but it certainly sets things up for a meet-cute.
