Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are calling on drivers and other road users to share roadways safely.
“227 people have died on OPP-patrolled roads this year, 30 of them in the GTA. Most of these are due to speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving and the choice to not wear a seatbelt,” according to OPP Central Region.

“Let’s make this weekend memorable for the right reasons,” said Chief Superintendent Karl Thomas, OPP Central Region.
