Grove Street closure starts next week

As part of the City of Barrie’s Duckworth Street Improvements and Grove Street East Watermain project, Grove Street will be closed from Duckworth Street to Cook Street starting on Monday, September 23 for approximately three weeks.
During the closure, the road will be closed to all traffic, but access for local residents and emergency services will be maintained.
The following detour routes will be in effect:
- Cook Street – Steel/Wellington Street – St. Vincent Street
- St. Vincent Street – Wellington/Steel Street – Cook Street
