Christmas Cheer: This week’s Charity Spotlight
Their Fundraising Goal is $280,000 to provide food and toys for Christmas for families in need.
Thank You! Because of your tremendous support in 2021, Christmas Cheer was able to deliver a COVID safe Christmas to 1700+ families in our community. The obstacles were many, and things looked very different, but our recipients have never been more grateful.
As we begin our 2022 campaign, the Board of Christmas Cheer is happy to announce that we will be running our full campaign this year. Food boxes and Toys for the children.
Our goal will increase this year to take into consideration inflation and expected increase in needs to $280,000.
This, however, is typically only one fourth of the value of what we distribute to families, so once again, hard, thoughtful decisions will be made. Fortunately, we have tremendous, long-term relationships with local suppliers that afford us significant value per donated dollar.
Last year, we had limited volunteers to follow COVID protocols. This year we will be much closer to our regular campaign levels, and we will welcome more of the community to support us with the program.
