AI – things to think about from Camptech

A few things we’ve found online that we hope you’ll enjoy or find useful.It was a big week for AI announcements, with Google debuting more than a dozen updates across its apps and AI models, and Anthropic introducing the next generation of Claude models. Elsewhere on the internet, people became really upset after discovering that the Chicago Sun-Times printed an AI-generated summer reading list full of fake books
 Speaking of AI, these 5 next-level ChatGPT prompts to save hours every week (published in Forbes) are pretty great. Just please be sure to fact-check everything that a generative AI system kicks out, okay?
 Stars or numbers? Researchers at Cornell University have found that consumers tend to overestimate star ratings, and underestimate number ratings. For example, if a product rating of 3.5 is displayed with stars versus standard numerals, consumers tend to think it’s closer to 4 than 3. Seems small, but it can have a big impact on consumer behaviour.
